For many years, founders have been presenting their startup ideas at LaborX events and getting feedback from the audience. At the LaborX-Bootcamp, they can take the next step and develop a functioning business model. The application phase runs until 22 September.

How the LaborX-Bootcamp works

The LaborX-Bootcamp is already taking place for the fourth time, starting on 6 October. The programme runs for eight weeks. Every two weeks, on Mondays from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., participants meet in a small group for an online session. In between, they have the opportunity to work independently on their business models with practical exercises. The necessary information material and digital tools are provided. Anyone who lives in the Hamburg metropolitan region and has a promising business idea can apply. Participation is supported by the Hamburg Ministry of Economics, Labour and Innovation and free of charge.

The online sessions and subsequent exercises will focus on the following topics:

  • Developing a market-driven and financially viable business model and identifying the necessary building blocks

  • Defining customer benefits

  • Working out a unique selling point

  • Developing a communication and sales strategy

  • Identifying potential partner companies
