The summer holidays are over, and Hamburg's startup and innovation scene is meeting again at numerous events. In this article, we have summarised the top 12 events in September and October for you.
September
On 10 September, you have a choice: those interested in the latest developments in the media industry can visit scoopcamp, while those interested in forward-looking urban planning should head to SMART CITY DAY. 12 September also has two highlights to offer, which can be combined. At Beiersorf Connect, the company best known worldwide for Nivea cream will show how innovation works there. Afterwards, it's off to betahaus. Hamburg's first co-working space is celebrating its 15th birthday.
A jacket is more appropriate than a hoodie at the Hamburger Gründerpreis. The prestigious award ceremony will take place on 15 September this year. One day later, on 16 September, the KI Summit will provide an overview of the latest developments in artificial intelligence. On 18 September, the NEXT Conference will be held under the motto ‘This is the End’ and will focus on new beginnings. One of Hamburg's most successful startup competitions is Gründergeist, which has already produced many successful companies. It will take place again on 25 September.
October
October is a little quieter, but there are still some attractive prizes to be won, such as the Health-i Award on 9 October. On 16 October, the Pioneer Lab of the Fresenius education group invites you to Startup Night. The topic of artificial intelligence will probably also play a role there. This will definitely be the case on 21 October at the AI.SUMMIT, where the AI.AWARD will be presented, among other things. Another major topic for the future is hydrogen. The Hydrogen Technology World Expo will be dedicated to this for three days, from 21 to 23 October.
