Life science startups wanted for pitch at Deep Tech Connect
DeepTech Connect will take place for the second time at Start-up Labs Bahrenfeld on 6 November 2025. The event connects startups from the life science sector with potential investors and partners from the ecosystem. The programme includes a pitch competition, for which you can apply until 28 August.
How you can take part in the Deep Tech Connect pitch
The main condition for participation is that the startups must locate their business model in the life science sector. Participation in a pitch training session organised by Laurens Ahlring from the consulting firm Pala Corporate Finance is also mandatory. The following dates are to be considered:
24 September, 12:00 - 13:30: Input & presentation
09 October, 10:00 - 13:00: Test pitches & feedback
A brief description of the startup and its product must be submitted with the application. Information on the business model, turnover in 2024 (if available) and already completed financing rounds or investment requirements are also expected. Please send your application by email to event@slb.hamburg.
After the application deadline, you will receive feedback on whether you have been able to secure one of the ten places for the pitch. You have until 10 September to confirm or cancel your application, after which a fee of 150 euros will be charged in case of your cancellation. Participation is otherwise cost-free of charge. In addition to the pitch, in which a jury will decide on the main prize, a varied programme awaits you at the event. Partners include Techniker Krankenkasse, DELL, Life Science Nord and Companisto. Not least because of this, there are good opportunities for networking.
