Viva Techology is one of the most influential technology events in the world and an experimentation ground for breakthrough technologies and global innovations. It will take place in Paris from June 14 to 17, and Hamburg Invest's Startup-Unit is offering three startups from the Hanseatic city the opportunity to experience the event first-hand.
What to expect at Viva Technology
At Viva Technology, more than 2,000 startups, 1,700 VCs and over 90,000 visitors from nearly 150 countries come together over four days to exchange ideas about the technologies of the future, to network, to make deals and to enter into long-term partnerships. If you travel to Paris with the Startup-Unit, you will receive the following benefits:
Ticket for all conference days.
Travel expenses covered up to a maximum of 1,200 euros per startup.
Participation in side event German Startup Night on June 15.
German Startup Night is the ideal networking event for German startups to connect with the French ecosystem.
These are the application criteria
Applications are open to startups whose official founding was no longer than five years ago on the deadline of March 1, 2023, and which have a registered office in the Hamburg economic region. The business model, product or service of the startup must have a clear reference to the topics of green logistics, smart city, deep tech or climate tech and must demonstrably pursue an innovative and scalable approach. In addition, there must already be a working or demonstrable prototype or service and a justified entrepreneurial interest to participate in Viva Technology.
To apply, write a short text of no more than 600 characters explaining why your startup in particular should be present at Viva Technology. Also include meaningful information such as a pitch deck or link to your website. The deadline for submissions is May 31. If more applications are received than there are available slots, an evaluation of the submitted information will be made by an internal panel of experts based on the following criteria: Maturity, scalability as well as international marketability. The three selected startups will be notified by email on Monday, June 05.
