The HOPPER is a versatile vehicle

The cabin e-bike developed by Hopper Mobility is specially tailored to the needs of city dwellers. Its pedelec licence means that it can be used both on the road and on cycle paths or in parks. The target group includes private individuals as well as outpatient care services, food and medicine delivery services, tradespeople and large hotels and holiday resorts. A patented braking system, the solar roof for charging the battery and the ability to turn on the spot are some of the special features of the HOPPER.

The team around the founders of Hopper Mobility, Martin Halama, Philipp Herrmann and Torben Müller-Hansen, will receive capital through the crowdfunding which will be used for the further development of sales and the scaling of production of the cabin e-bike. In addition, the Hopper Mobility team was able to build up a network of almost 310 invested Companists, from whose knowledge and experience it would like to benefit in the future. Hopper Mobility GmbH was founded in Augsburg in 2021 has now eight employees and has been based in Hamburg since January 2024.

“All over the world, cities and municipalities are reorganising their transport and land use concepts. They are creating more space for people travelling by public transport, on foot or by bike. With the HOPPER, we are tapping into the zeitgeist: the HOPPER offers sustainable individual mobility and closes the gap between cars and bicycles. We are using the capital from the current investment round to fulfil the great interest we have received and to get the HOPPER on the road quickly and in large numbers. Many thanks to the more than 300 investors for their trust and support.”
