Application phase for OMR Gründer*innen Pitch started
The OMR Festival 2023 on May 9 and 10 in Hamburg is one of the largest events altogether on topics such as marketing and digitization. One program focus is called 5050 and aims to ensure equal rights for women in business. The application phase has now started for a pitch competition, which OMR is organizing together with the magazine emotion, taking place within the festival.
These are the application requirements
The most important condition for participation is the structure of the founding team. At least 50% of the members should be women; all-female teams are also possible. Early-stage startups that have been active on the market for at least six months are also in demand. Concepts are advantageous that have an impact in areas such as social issues, diversity or ecology, are innovative and promise economic success.
The application phase runs from January 23 to March 13. From all applications ten startups will be selected und informed about that by March 17. An exclusive dinner will then take place on March 30, where these startups will meet with investors. For five startup teams, the next steps will be in May. On the 8th, a visit to the EMOTION Woman's Day is on the agenda, a job conference for women at the Cinemaxx Dammtor. On the 9th, the final pitch will take place live at the OMR Festival in Hamburg's Messenhallen. More information and the link to the application can be found here.
