What to expect at HubDay 2024
The Digital Hub Logistics in the Speicherstadt historical warehouse district has established itself as one of Hamburg's most important locations for startup events. The highlight of the season is HubDay on November 7, which will be attended by Hamburg's First Mayor Dr. Peter Tschentscher, among others. Far more than just logistics on three stages
A varied program will take place on three stages from 9:30 to 19:00. Julien Kakarott, the hub's new Managing Director since October 2024, will give the welcoming address. A surprise guest will then give the keynote speech entitled “Run, Fall, Get Up Again and Again...”. The Logistics Battle, in which representatives of established companies and startups from various logistics sectors compete, promises to be exciting. There is a wide range of topics on offer: artificial intelligence and sustainability are on the agenda, as are the challenges of finding talent and the growing of startups.
The mayor speaks at the end
Provost Frie Bräsen will contribute his very own perspective with a talk about the church in today's society and what companies can learn from it. The highlight of many startup events is a pitch competition, and HubDay 2024 will be no different. From 18:00, the Logistics Hidden Champions Award will be on the agenda. Afterwards, Mayor Tschentscher will emphasize Hamburg's leading role in the logistics industry.
HubDay is not least an important networking event that also attracts numerous guests from outside Hamburg. A dedicated app makes it easier to establish contacts, for example at the concluding dinner and latenight networking.
