Hamburg is considered a logistics metropolis and the Digital Hub Logistics in the Speicherstadt warehouse district is one of the hotspots. The third edition of Boostcamp will take place there from June 17 to 20, 2024. Both startups and established companies can apply now to bring their ideas forward together.

Surprising cooperations are formed at Boostcamp

The Boostcamp sees itself as an innovation camp in which rough ideas are further developed and refined over the course of three and a half days. The participating teams receive support from the Digital Hub Logistics and experts from its network, even before the actual event begins. At the Boostcamp itself, common methods from the startup world are used to achieve results as quickly as possible. The event concludes with a pitch to potential cooperation partners and decision-makers.

A special feature of the boot camp is the joint participation of startups and corporates. The aim is to bring different kinds of companies together for joint projects. One successful example is the collaboration between the startup Zaubar and the public transport operator Hamburger Hochbahn. Zaubar has developed an app to playfully explore the labyrinthine Jungfernstieg underground station, making it easier to find the desired platform.

The application phase for Boostcamp 2024 ends on February 26. The teams that qualify will receive feedback the following week. Various preparation and familiarization dates are scheduled until the final event from 17 to 20 June.
