Candoora receives funding from venture capitalist allygatr
The Berlin-based VC firm allygatr, which specializes in HR tech, is investing an undisclosed amount in the Hamburg-based startup Candoora. Candoora's goal is to provide a software solution to enable teams to collaborate better and managers to receive continuous training.
A founder with extensive startup experience
Candoora 2022 was founded by computer scientist Tom Krause, who has already worked for startups such as Delivery Hero and Cargonexx, first as CTO and most recently as CEO. The problem he wants to solve is employees' insufficient knowledge of their company's goals, accompanied by a lack of identification. There are several approaches to this, which Candoora wants to combine.
Included in the software are modules for formulating goals, for employee appraisals, and for giving feedback - supported, if necessary, by artificial intelligence to formulate written feedback constructively. At the same time, exceutives and HR managers can use the tool to perform detailed analyses and make their success measurable. Candoora also uses the term "Web3" in describing its offering, which refers to a decentralized area of the Internet in which blockchain technology plays an essential role.
Candoora is the 13th startup in venture capitalist allygatr's portfolio. "The software alone that Tom Krause has developed is impressive. The human component that is added makes Candoora a unique and super effective leadership tool that will strengthen any team," explains Benjamin Visser, CEO and founder of allygatr.
