Meet&Match: Kick-off

About the event

Speed dating with people interested in founding a company? Register now for Meet&Match!

"Being a co-founder in a startup sounds super exciting to me, but I don't have the right idea!" "I have a great idea, but I don't have the skills to realise it all by myself!" Sounds like they complement each other? Indeed, it does!

In the next round of Meet&Match, startup port would like to bring together what belongs together again: The Meet&Match co-founder matching programme is aimed at individuals or groups, that have already been formed and have a vision or a startup idea but are still missing team members with certain skills, as well as at people interested in starting a business who do not have their own idea but are interested in founding a company and have useful skills.

At the kick-off event on 12 December, you will once again have the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas. Those interested in founding a company will pitch their ideas and then it's time to get to know each other and find out, which idea might be of interest to which co-founder. We then accompany you through further exciting phases right up to the match.

The mandatory kick-off for the programme will take place on 12.12.2023 (14:00 - 17:30) at the TransferAgentur of the University of Hamburg at Rothenbaumchausse 19.

Registrations are possible until 15.11.2023.

Agenda

Phase 1

"Meet&Match" starts with a kick-off event at which founders (teams) pitch their startup ideas. This is followed by a kind of "speed dating", in which founders (teams) and people interested in founding a company can have a brief initial dialogue.

Phase 2

Following the kick-off event, the aim is to get to know each other better on a personal level. The aim here is to get to know each other even better and to see if you like each other.

Phase 3

If the chemistry between you is right, then it's time for the working phase. Here you can check, how you will work as future colleagues in the team. To do this, you work on existing or fictitious problems and test how you would work together.

Phase 4

The final phase is about tackling more sensitive issues and discussing, for example, responsibilities, founding shares, etc.
