The Future Founder support programme is entering its third round. Students from universities in Hamburg and the metropolitan region can now once again apply to develop their startup ideas within three months and turn them into a functioning business model.

What Future Founder involves

The programme is open to individuals and teams with an existing startup concept as well as students who want to contribute their skills to a team without an idea of their own. And this is what you can expect from the programme:

  • Practical learning content, for example on validating the business idea, financing options or legal issues

  • Mentoring from experienced founders, professors and VCs

  • A strong network in Hamburg's startup ecosystem

  • Six ECTS for studies

  • The opportunity to build a real startup

On 27 and 29 October, the teams that will go through the programme over the next three months come together. From November to January, a series of workshops will then take place in which basic startup knowledge will be taught. A highlight will be the Prototyping Weekend on 5 and 6 December for concrete product development. In January, there will be two pitches on the agenda, which will be prepared with training. First in front of selected investors and as the conclusion of the programme at Demo Day in front of a large audience. Places at this event are limited; at the second edition of Future Founder, four out of a total of ten teams were able to pitch.
