You want to network and exchange knowledge with other young researchers and professionals, show your talent and improve your CV? Have you always wanted to visit Hamburg? Then the COMPAR-EU Hackathon might be just the thing for you!

The challenge of the COMPAR-EU Hackthon in Hamburg is as follows: How to ensure the sustainability of the www.self-management.eu decision support platform?

The COMPAR-EU project aims to identify and compare the most effective and cost-efficient self-management interventions (SMI) for adults in Europe suffering from one of the four priority chronic conditions: Type 2 diabetes, obesity, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and heart failure.

Young researchers and professionals are sought to work together in interdisciplinary teams to look at the sustainability of the COMPAR-EU platform from different angles, for example:

• How to use artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically update evidence in decision-making tools.

• How to use the application programming interface (API) to transfer data to other applications

Of course, the focus is also on having a lot of fun and sharing new knowledge with other hackers!

The first prize is 1000€ for the team.
