The German Creative Economy Summit (GCES) is the central industry gathering for the German creative economy. Every year, around 1,100 experts and executives from politics, business, administration and culture come together in Hamburg to strengthen networks, provide innovative impetus and actively shape the future of the industry together.
As a platform for exchange, political anchoring and economic strengthening, the 2026 congress will focus in particular on the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence, the digital economy and social transformation.
The GCES creates a common stage for an industry that has often been fragmented in the past – and strengthens the creative industries' anchoring in politics and the public sphere.
