The research grant is an attractive funding instrument for companies and startups that develop new products or services. It is independent of company size and sector, open to all topics and can also be applied for completed and ongoing projects. This means that the research grant offers easy-to-plan refinancing of research and development expenditure (up to 35% for SMEs). In addition, the chances of approval are significantly higher than in the case of grant funding.
Dr Florian Vogt and Dr Katarzyna Ewa Rollert from the Innovations Kontakt Stelle (IKS) Hamburg have already accompanied several projects on their way to successfully applying for the research allowance. The speakers will introduce you to the funding instrument, including practical tips for identifying eligible projects and submitting applications.
