First things first: a barcamp has nothing to do with drinking. It's more about sharing knowledge and experiences.
This agile form of conference offers low-threshold access to a knowledge format, with the opportunity to contribute as an expert. And: to gain specific knowledge by discussing specialised topics in small groups.
At the start of the camp, all ticket holders meet and submit a so-called ‘session’, i.e. a topic. Once all the topics have been collected, those present vote on which topics will be covered during the day and which ‘sessions’ will take place. The more participants there are, the greater the choice of topics, the more variety and – ultimately – the more sessions.
Would you like to attend but don't want to submit your own topic? No problem, we already have some topics in the pipeline, as well as a keynote speech, a panel discussion and several workshops.
