As a senior embedded software developer (gn) you contribute to the stabilization and enhancement of our embedded thermostat software. You increase the customer value of our thermostat. That's how you contribute to the development of the climate protection technologies of the future.
What will you do
You develop new functionalities in our thermostat like battery management
You improve the abstraction and extend the business logic with new functions
You find and fix bugs on all levels in our thermostat software
You analyze hardware problems and automate this analysis over time (auto diagnosis)
You adapt the thermostat software to new conditions such as new hardware components
You supervise working students in your team
Requirements
Several years of practical experience in software development for deeply embedded microcontrollers
Knowledge of C, C++ and current extensions
Problem solving skills
Ideally experience with wireless, IoT devices and hardware development
You communicate well in German or English
