The Innovation & Technology Transfer (ITT) staff unit handles all tasks in this area for the two DESY sites in Hamburg and Zeuthen. Part of DESY's strategy is to support new companies in the complex high-tech field in their foundation and to establish them on the campus in the newly emerging startup infrastructures. The DESY Startup Office is responsible for and manages all support services for deep-tech founders at DESY and, as a project partner in the Startup-Port network, also for founders from other research institutions.
As a joint project, Startup Port offers knowledge-based startup projects in the Hamburg metropolitan region a platform to support the startup as efficiently as possible. As a startup consultant at DESY, you will advise the startup teams from the pre-startup phase onwards. The position comprises 15 hours per week, a temporary increase to 20 hours per week is possible.
