Program Manager Startup Funding (m/f/d) - part-time (24h/week)

IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH - Hamburg's most active investor for startups

With our funding programs and our venture capital funds, we provide young, innovative companies with seed capital. We also manage the Hamburg Investors Network. To date, we have financed more than 460 startups in Hamburg and are involved in around 150 startups. We are looking for the next possible date for the InnoFounder funding program:

Your tasks

Your tasks will focus on supporting Hamburg startups in the InnoFounder program. The funding program is aimed at early-stage startups and particularly addresses digital companies. The following activities await you:

• You will evaluate innovative business models, assess them and pre-select startups for the award committee

• You advise and support founders in the application process

• You support the funded start-ups before and during the funding period

• You represent our funding programs and our company to the outside world

• You are part of the development to interlink the funding programs even more closely

Furthermore, you will develop and maintain your network of multipliers in the startup and founder scene, contacts to former portfolio startups as well as to Hamburg universities and research institutions.

Your profile

You are best suited to us with a degree in degree in engineering, natural sciences or economics sciences. Regardless of your professional training and professional experience, we are looking for from you:

• A keen interest in innovative ideas and business business models and a feel for their marketability

• A good understanding of business management interrelationships

• Experience in the area of funding/financing of start-ups or founding experience is an advantage

• Desire for content research and critical assessment

• Strong interpersonal skills, good communication communication skills in German and English and a confident manner
