Intern in Sales/Sales of a GreenTech StartUp (d/w/m)

Do you want to shape online retail sustainably in a modern and dynamic environment, far away from conservative structures? Then we need you!

For our further growth, we are now looking for ambitious interns for our sales team, with the opportunity to participate first-hand in B2B customer and partner expansion.

Boomerang is a Hamburg-based start-up that is transforming online retail with reusable shipping packaging and an innovative deposit system, saving huge amounts of packaging waste. Our Boomerang Packs massively reduce packaging waste, save resources and CO2 emissions.

Your tasks

  • You will provide us with comprehensive support for all sales and sales-related activities. From lead research and building a sales pipeline to final contract processing, you will gain in-depth insights into the entire sales cycle.

  • Your active involvement in shaping and implementing the further development of our sales strategies will help us to build up additional customer segments.

  • In addition to building new customer relationships, you will look after and maintain existing customers and partners in day-to-day business.

  • You will be an integral part of our sales team and gain first-hand insights by attending regular sales and marketing meetings.

  • You will support us with market and competition analyses as well as with the planning and implementation of trade fairs and events.

Your qualifications:

  • You are motivated to actively help shape the sales department and gain deep insights into the sales processes of a fast-growing GreenTech start-up.

  • You are not afraid to communicate creatively and convincingly with different hierarchical levels about why we are the ideal partner for sustainable shipping.

  • You are characterised by team spirit and strong communication skills.

  • You are motivated by working independently and contributing your own ideas.

  • You are willing to give your best and can inspire and inspire others with your motivating "can-do mentality".

  • You see tasks and problems independently and are not afraid to face them.

  • Start-up life looks different every day. At best, you have flexibility.

  • You are hungry for more and show a willingness to learn.

  • You speak (and write) fluent German and very good English and live in or around Hamburg.

  • Initial experience in sales/distribution is an advantage, but not a must.

Boomerang is a Hamburg-based startup that wants to turn online trade around and save huge amounts of packaging waste with reusable shipping packaging and a deposit system. Our Boomerang Packs thus massively reduce the CO2 footprint of online trade and save valuable resources. Each Boomerang can be reused up to 50 times, replacing conventional disposable cartons. In addition to our smart packaging solutions, we offer a digital deposit system and return logistics. Each pack can be reduced to letter size and returned to us free of charge via any mailbox. We are a team of 15 people.
