Co-Founder
Technical Co-founder for sustainable fintech wanted

We are developing a European payment app that supports climate protection with every payment. For users, it’s completely free, for businesses, it’s not more expensive than traditional card payments (sometimes even cheaper!).

Status quo: Won first prizes (+ outlook on 300k funding + Exist application); found a payment provider that allows us to start and scale easily and that makes us instantly available at some major retail chains; discussions with 40+ shops; first 400 users on the waiting list.

Our vision: Payment is at the heart of our economy. It connects all people with all businesses. If we manage to establish a sustainable company at this central point and use this position to make sustainable services (for users and businesses) more accessible, it could become one of the strongest drivers of sustainability in Europe.

We are currently looking for another technical co-founder (with frontend and/or backend experience). As we will be using external payment infrastructure at the beginning, no previous experience in the financial sector is necessary. Together, we will be applying for an Exist-Grant.

Does this sound exciting to you, or do you have any questions? Feel free to get in touch with a few words about yourself.

We are building a payment method, that cuts out highly profitable intermediaries – making digital payments cheaper and more attractive for merchants. But at the same time, we use parts of the savings and invest them in climate protection projects – giving everyone the possibility to have a positive impact with their everyday spendings. You could say, we want to become the Ecosia of Payment.

But the vision is much bigger: Payment is the heart of society. It connects all humans with all businesses. When we manage to establish a sustainable company at this crucial position in society and use this position to for example making sustainable services more accessible (to users and businesses) that could have a huge impact. If we manage to successfully establish our idea on the market, it could become one of the strongest drivers of sustainability in Europe.
