In July 2026, no fewer than eight startups were accepted into the funding programmes run by IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH: 10x Autonomy, Anori Tech, mAI, Nebenkostenprofi, re_source, Alles In Ordnung, Hamburg SOZIAL and ONperiod.

10x Autonomy

A new addition to the InnoRampUp programme is the startup 10x Autonomy. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which, amongst other things, help to improve road safety, have been around for a while, whilst autonomous driving is becoming an increasingly prominent topic. In both cases, the challenge lies in analysing very large volumes of data quickly and accurately. 10x Autonomy uses artificial intelligence to accelerate the development of reliable autonomous systems whilst making the process more cost-effective. And that – as the name suggests – ideally by a factor of 10.

Anori Tech

An essential component of any modern rechargeable battery is the battery management system (BMS), which acts as the central control unit. As the number of different battery types grows, so does the complexity of the required BMS, which is increasingly leading to significant delays in bringing products to market. Anori Tech, another startup funded by InnoRampUp, has created a modular system that distinctly simplifies and shortens the process. It even promises to deliver a solution within days, not years.

mAI

The name of the startup mAI stands for modular adaptive intelligence and, of course, artificial intelligence. AI is being used more and more frequently in software programming, but it often performs unreliably and inaccurately. Developers therefore have to check all results and, where necessary, spend a great deal of time correcting them. A solution developed by the mAI team on the basis of two years of fundamental research, called Application Programming Application (APA), aims to provide greater reliability by monitoring AI agents as they work. With this idea, this startup also secured a place in the InnoRampUp programme.

Nebenkostenprofi

Many tenants have probably harboured doubts about the accuracy of their service charge statements. These doubts are justified, as a large number of these statements are indeed incorrect. For companies, this can quickly result in significant, avoidable costs. The startup LRH Software, which has recently been accepted into the InnoFounder programme, can help them. Under the brand name Nebenkostenprofi, it uses AI to check the statements, identifies discrepancies and potential savings, and, if necessary, takes the appropriate legal action.

re_source

From 12 August 2026, a new EU-wide regulation will come into force, requiring companies to pay greater attention to sustainability and recyclability in their packaging. This plays right into the hands of the startup re_source, which has developed an AI-powered platform that makes it easier for companies to find the optimal packaging solution. This is achieved by linking internal data with external information on materials, suppliers and regulations. Its inclusion in the InnoFounder programme is set to further drive the platform’s development.

Alles In Ordnung

What does the world look like from the perspective of people who rely on a wheelchair? The social startup Alles In Ordnung provides a practical answer. Every Saturday, it invites people to its space on Rathausstraße in Hamburg to chat and try sitting in a wheelchair for a while. An obstacle course allows participants to experience first-hand the change in perspective and the barriers that still exist. Funding from the InnoImpact programme is intended to enable Alles In Ordnung to bring its initiative into companies as a training programme.

Hamburg SOZIAL

Affordable housing for those on an average income has now become a rarity in cities such as Hamburg. Hamburg SOZIAL is a non-profit housing association that has set itself the task of solving this problem by combining public funding with equity from private and institutional partners. The aim is to drive forward construction projects that offer particularly young people and families an alternative to the overpriced property market. This is also supported by the InnoImpact programme.

ONperiod

The third new addition to InnoImpact is ONperiod. The founders of this non-profit startup aim to use donations to ensure that free period products in toilets at workplaces and public institutions become as commonplace as soap and toilet paper. They also want to use an education programme in schools to remove the taboo surrounding menstruation. Another aim is to tackle period poverty, as adequate menstrual hygiene is often hindered by limited financial resources – and not just in poor countries.
