The team at IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH was particularly active at the beginning of 2026, accepting six startups into its support programmes. The new additions are Transformance, Centify, LIVEABLE PLACES, mellem, Mirox and TRACE Electricity.
Transformance
The InnoFinTech programme saw three additions in January. The startup Transformance is now receiving funding for its platform for automating financial processes in large companies. AI agents take on tasks such as payment allocation and reconciliation, investigating discrepancies, clarifying claims and much more. The aim is to speed up cash recovery, reduce write-offs, increase control and transparency, and reduce personnel expenditure for routine tasks in finance departments.
Centify
Centify tackles the issue of commission settlement. Its promise is ‘No more Excel!’. The startup guarantees seamless integration of its solution into common CRM systems (customer data software) such as Salesforce and HubSpot. This automates commission management and enables real-time calculation of payments to the sales staff. Once again, the advantages here are time savings and greater transparency. Its best-known customer is the Hamburg-based energy startup 1KOMMA5°.
LIVEABLE PLACES
The question of how sustainable and socially acceptable business decisions are is one that concerns almost every industry today. For the real estate sector, the startup LIVEABLE PLACES is helping to answer this. Its software offers a solution for assessing the social sustainability and risk exposure of construction projects. The analysis, which is supported by artificial intelligence, takes into account criteria such as supply and demand, considering the social structures at different locations.
mellem
mellem is receiving funding from the InnoFounder programme. This startup is building a digital platform designed to help people dealing with death and grief. It is supposed to enable users to make personal decisions in the event of death, from choosing suitable types of graves to planning maintenance and managing family and shared memorial sites. In doing so, it wants to reduce the bureaucratic effort to the bare minimum. mellem, which has another location in Helsinki in addition to Hamburg, is currently in the development phase and the platform is not yet active.
Mirox
Another new InnoFounder startup is Mirox. It is developing a software platform for the operation and management of solar, wind and storage facilities. The solution combines technical and economic perspectives, creates transparency regarding the condition and performance of facilities, and supports decision-making in day-to-day business. Digital models of the plants help to continuously optimise operation and economic efficiency. The product promises include cost savings of up to 60%.
TRACE Electricity
TRACE Electricity has secured a place in the InnoRampUp programme. With its TRACE.APP, the startup supports small and medium-sized enterprises in mastering the energy transition more quickly and transparently. Small and medium-sized enterprises can use it to identify potential for reducing energy costs and CO2 emissions in just a few minutes and without any specialist knowledge, and take eligible measures. This simplifies investment decisions in energy solutions and enables companies to implement targeted measures to strengthen their competitiveness.
