From 6 to 8 October 2026, the Hamburg Messe will host leat con, a leading event in the entertainment and experience technology industry. Startup City Hamburg is giving six startups the opportunity to showcase themselves in a shared exhibition space and to forge valuable contacts with companies that are interested in collaborating with startups and are open to innovative solutions. You can apply to participate until 12 July.

Here’s how the application process works
leat con is particularly attractive to startups developing innovative solutions for the event, media, and creative industries. To participate in the shared booth, you must meet the following requirements:
The company is headquartered in Hamburg.
As of the application deadline, the startup must be no more than 10 years old.
You must have an MVP or a product with recognizable market potential.
You must demonstrate a clear interest in collaborations, pilot projects, or business development related to leat con.
You must be willing to actively participate and staff the booth throughout the event.
An expert jury will evaluate all applications based on the degree of innovation, relevance to the leat con target audiences, market potential, and scalability. The selected startups will be notified by email no later than July 17. A participation fee of 500 euros plus VAT is required.
Up to 13,000 visitors are expected over the three days of the event. A special highlight of leat con is the neo summit 26, a networking event for industry professionals. Here, startups connect with companies actively seeking AI applications, technology partners, and innovative solutions. The Startup City Hamburg service package includes:
