With iF Genesis, the Hamburg-based Startup Factory Impossible Founders is launching another support programme to complement its existing offerings. Whilst iF Pioneers prepares university projects for launch and iF Momentum supports young companies that have already achieved initial success, iF Genesis is aimed at deeptech startups in their earliest stages. iF Genesis rounds off the support programmes offered by Impossible Founders

Personalised support rather than a rigid programme at iF Genesis
Once an idea originating in science and research has developed into a business model, the first step towards entrepreneurship has been taken. However, the basic knowledge required to take the next steps is often lacking. This is precisely where iF Genesis comes in. The programme is aimed at startups that have just been founded or are about to be launched, and offers workshops covering key topics such as legal aspects, product development, market analysis and finance. In addition, there are individual coaching sessions tailored directly to the founders’ needs. Participants also gain access to workspaces and, in certain cases, grants of up to 40,000 euros upon reaching specific milestones.
Unlike traditional incubators, iF Genesis has no fixed start and end dates, and the duration of the programme is tailored to the needs of each individual startup. The main objectives are to prepare them for funding, to further develop their technologies and to support them in building their teams. The following criteria apply to applications:
Demonstration of a promising deeptech concept.
Submission of a compelling pitch deck.
The startup has not yet secured any major funding.
Hamburg is not a prerequisite as a location, although a significant part of the programme takes place there.
The first startups have already begun taking part in the iF Genesis programme; Impossible Founders she will be presenting them shortly.
