Hyground secures 3 million euros in funding round
Hyground has raised 3 million euros in a pre-seed funding round. The Hamburg-based startup uses artificial intelligence to detect, analyse and resolve irregularities and errors in IT systems, thereby minimising costly downtime.
Hyground has already proven itself in practice
Participants in the round include Partech, adesso ventures, Angel Invest and Plug and Play. The funds are intended to drive forward the development of Hyground’s ‘Sovereign SRE Agent’, an AI system that runs entirely within the customer’s own infrastructure and possesses the analytical capabilities of experienced SRE experts. SRE stands for Site Reliability Engineering. This refers to a set of principles and practices that encompass aspects of software engineering and are applied to infrastructure and operational issues. The main objectives are to create scalable and highly reliable software systems.
As soon as a problem is detected, Hyground automatically initiates an investigation and produces a diagnosis. The system links signals from all relevant sources and, rather than providing further data for analysis, delivers clear answers: what happened, why did it happen, and what should be done next? Hyground is already in production at Deutsche Bahn and ifm, a leading German automation company. Both run complex, high-availability systems where downtime carries direct operational and financial consequences. Incident resolution times have dropped by up to 80%.
