Holy Technologies, SURFACtoBioTech and Universal Carbon are the first startups at iF Momentum
iF Momentum is a selective accelerator programme for incorporated deeptech startups with a working technology base that are ready to move from lab validation toward real-world deployment and investor readiness. Rather than a fixed curriculum, each team receives individualised support on integration readiness, pilot design and investor preparation over six months, together with a 100,000 euros funding contribution structured as a convertible loan and access to Impossible Founders' network of labs, experts and infrastructure through non-dilutive venture credits.

These are the first three teams from iF Momentum
Holy Technologies
Holy Technologies, one of Hamburg’s established deep-tech manufacturers, founded by Bosse Rothe Frossard (CEO) and Moritz Jonathan Reiners (CTO), produces carbon composite parts at its own production facility in Hamburg-Altona. The parts, which are fully recyclable and designed for high-performance applications, were initially tested in Formula 1.

Surfactobiotech
Surfactobiotech, founded at the Max Planck Institute by Dr Jacqueline De Lora, Dr Martin Schröter and Benedikt Eikmanns, has patented a device that generates microdroplets small enough to enclose a single human cell or molecule, allowing scientific experiments to reach up to 100,000 times greater statistical significance while running faster and at lower cost.

Universal Carbon
Universal Carbon, a spin-off from Airbus founded by Antje Bulmann (Commercial Lead), Viktor Fetter (Technology Lead) and Leon Dario Ketscher (Engineering & Operations Lead), is developing large-scale CO2 capture plants; several units built during the team's time at Airbus are already in operation.
Admission decisions were made by iF Momentum's Investment Committee, which includes Gitta Neufang, Dirk Freise and Isaac Shariv, alongside Arik Willner, Founder & CEO of Impossible Founders.
