The third round of the Future Founder support programme recently came to an end with its Demo Day, and the fourth round will already begin in April. Students from the Hamburg metropolitan region can now apply to turn their university projects into real startups.

The advantages of Future Founder

Individuals and teams with a startup-ready project can participate, as can students without an own idea who want to contribute their expertise to an existing team. Future Founder has the following to offer them:

  • Practical learning content, for example on validating business ideas, financing options or legal issues

  • Mentoring by experienced founders, professors and VCs

  • A strong network in Hamburg's startup ecosystem

  • Six ECTS credits for their studies

  • The opportunity to build a real startup

The three-month programme runs from April to July. After a brief introductory phase, weekly workshops will teach participants the most important basic startup knowledge. Personal attendance is mandatory; there are no online training sessions. Highlights of the programme include a prototyping weekend for product development and a pitch to investors. The grand finale is again on Demo Day in front of a large audience, where only some of the participating teams will present. The entire programme, organised by Impossible Founders, will be held in English.
