Since 2011, Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft has been supporting startups through the incubator Music WorX that are driving the music industry forward with their innovations. Teams from across Europe now have until 17 June 2026 to apply for the three-month programme.

Conditions of participation and programme
Wanted are early-stage startups working on an innovation at the intersection of music and tech. The companies do not need to have been formally established yet, and solopreneurs are also welcome to apply. A panel of experts will select the five teams or individuals receiving support. The aim of the incubator is to develop an idea into a viable business model. A permanent presence in Hamburg is not required for participation. The programme combines digital formats with three in-person phases lasting several days: Kick-off (September), Public Pitch (November) and Wrap-up (December). On-site participation is mandatory only on these dates.
Participation in Music WorX offers the following benefits, amongst others:
A personalised development budget of 3,200 euros per team
A monthly living allowance of 1,500 euros for the three-month duration of the programme
Workspaces at SPACE in Hamburg and tools for (digital) collaboration
Prize money of 1,000 euros (audience prize as part of the Public Pitch) and 2,500 euros (jury prize for the best development in the incubator)
Workshops on industry-relevant topics
Personalised mentoring and sparring with experienced professionals
Exclusive access to the Music WorX network and investors
Participation in the Reeperbahn Festival
