Startups that combine social or environmental impact with financial profitability are known as ‘zebras’. At Zebra Investment Night, they have the chance to pitch to investors and receive concrete funding offers on the spot. The next event takes place on 27 August; the deadline for applications is 28 June.

Well over 1 million euros thanks to Zebra Investment Night

At the last Zebra Investment Night in November 2025, the participating startups received commitments for investments totalling over 200,000 euros, subject to a positive due diligence outcome. Impact Hub Hamburg, which organises the pitch event, estimates the total funding volume generated through the first two editions, including follow-up contacts, at around 1.3 million euros. This amount is distributed not only among single winners but across a range of startups. This gives Zebra Investment Night a unique standing, having already attracted founders from all over Germany to Hamburg.
