Advancing new ideas at Boostcamp 2026
From 15 to 18 June, Digital Hub Logistics & Commerce will once again be hosting its Boostcamp. ‘From a raw idea to a tangible result in 3.5 days’ is the motto of the event. Established companies and startups can apply until 19 March.
How Boostcamp works
Boostcamp defines its approach as an innovation sprint, in which different teams compete with an idea or challenge that concerns their company. The 3.5 days are used to analyse the problem and develop solutions. In an iterative process, prototypes can be created and projects initiated that will be continued in the companies after the end of the programme. The Digital Hub takes care of the teams even before the actual event and brings them together with suitable experts from its network.
Last year, companies such as Gebr. Heinemann, the Nagel Group and Tchibo took part. One of the attractions for participants is the prospect of finding cross-company synergies and entering into collaborations. This can result in valuable contacts, especially for startups. For example, Hamburger Hochbahn 2023 carried out a pilot project together with Zaubar. The aim was to make it easier for passengers to find their way around the Jungfernstieg railway station, which is known for its complexity, with the help of an app. This year, the number of Boostcamp places is limited to four. If there are more applications, a pre-selection will be made based on the relevance of the submission.
