Podcasts are now available on almost every topic, including, of course, those dealing with the world of startups. In this article, we present five current podcasts from this field that originate from Hamburg.
ChefTalk
The development from a career event for a few hundred students called ChefTreff to the two-day Future Leader Summit congress, which is expected to attract up to 10,000 participants, is a real success story. The accompanying podcast called ChefTalk is hosted by ChefTreff founder Jan Henri Kalinowski and mainly features business leaders, including successful startup founders such as Hendrik Susemihl (goodBytz), Philipp Schröder (1KOMMA5°) and Jan Marquardt (Zive).
Ideencouch
Another successful event in Hamburg, albeit on a much smaller scale, is LaborX. Here, founders can get tips from the audience on how to develop their startups. Practical benefits are also at the forefront of Ideencouch, hosted by LaborX creator Dr Jan Evers. He talks to entrepreneurs about their startup experiences and experts about financing options, legal issues and many other topics that concern the self-employed and those who want to become self-employed.
vorwaertsgang
bulb is an initiative of the AGA business association that looks after the interests of startups. The bulb podcast, hosted by Lorenz Sacher, is called vorwaertsgang and, according to its own description, is aimed at anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit. The interviewees come almost exclusively from the Hamburg startup ecosystem. A separate category entitled ‘deep tech talk’ is dedicated to spin-offs from the renowned DESY research institute, thus also drawing attention to Hamburg as a centre of science.
Hamburg 2040
With its Hamburg 2040 strategy, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce aims to provide significant impetus for the future of the business location. In the podcast of the same name, Malte Heyne, CEO of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, meets decision-makers from business, politics and society every month for a chat. Startups are not necessarily central, but the guest list also includes successful founders such as Max Webers (Colipi) and Anne Lamp (traceless).
New Energy from Hamburg
The name says it all with the New Energy from Hamburg podcast from the Renewable Energy Cluster. Astrid Dose invites personalities from business, politics and science to chat on the couch. The focus is on developments and players in Hamburg and northern Germany with national and European appeal. Startups operating in the field of renewable energies can gain valuable inspiration here.
