You are invited to the official opening of Biospace, a new life science innovation hub within the DESY Innovation Factory, celebrated with a two-day Opening Symposium on May 6–7, 2026, in Hamburg.
Organised by Start-Up Labs Hamburg GmbH and hosted by DESY Innovation Factory, the event marks the launch of a new infrastructure for life science and biotech innovation in Hamburg: As state-of-the-art laboratory environment Biospace is designed to support startups at the interface of science, entrepreneurship, and application.
Across two days, the symposium will bring together startups, researchers, industry representatives, and innovation stakeholders for a dynamic programme of keynotes, startup and sponsor talks, panel discussions, guided lab tours, and a trade show with networking opportunities.
A special highlight of the symposium is the presenting of the winner of the incubation program by the DESY Innovation Factory Biospace, with € 1,500 in Biospace usage credits.
