Sales Account Executive (m/f/d)

Available from July 3, 2026

Conlivo is a Hamburg-based PropTech company.

At Conlivo, we're rebuilding the metering-services market from the ground up. Across Germany, property management companies oversee thousands of multi-unit buildings where heating cost billing still runs through external metering providers — usually with long turnaround times, intransparent processes, barely digital and expensive.

We think it can be done better. Conlivo gives property managers a modern SaaS platform to run their heating cost billing themselves: faster, cheaper, and without the traditional metering-provider machinery. No waiting on external vendors, no hidden costs, full control over your own data.

To grow our sales function, we're looking for an Account Executive (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible.

Your role

As an Account Executive (m/f/d), you'll play a key part in building out our sales function — shaping it from the ground up rather than slotting into a finished process. You'll own the full sales cycle: reaching out to property managers proactively, qualifying inbound leads from our go-to-market system, trade fairs, website and Google, running consultations and negotiations, and closing deals yourself. Around 60% of your focus goes into leading sales conversations; the rest into your own outreach and growing your pipeline.

You'll get real ownership of the entire sales process. You run your pipeline in HubSpot yourself, actively shape the pitch and the sales process, and work closely with our founder and managing director. You won't be joining an existing sales team — you'll define how sales works at Conlivo for years to come, with direct influence on revenue, process and product.

What you'll do

  • Own the full sales cycle: qualifying inbound leads, actively prospecting property managers, running first calls, product demos and negotiations.

  • Manage and maintain your pipeline in our CRM (HubSpot).

  • Continuously improve our sales process, including pitch and objection handling.

  • Test new outreach channels for active prospecting.

  • Systematically feed customer feedback back into the team, turning it into concrete improvements together with Product and Operations.

What you bring

  • Solid B2B sales experience, ideally in PropTech, real estate or SaaS. You understand how to sell products that need explaining and know how to navigate complex buying decisions on the customer side.

  • A track record of running deals independently, from first contact to close. You haven't just booked meetings or pre-qualified leads — you've closed business yourself, and you can point to specific examples.

  • Fluent German that lets you explain a complex product in a clear, structured and convincing way, including in front of several decision-makers and under critical questioning.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and the readiness to take full ownership of your pipeline and your revenue. You see sales not as a chore but as a direct lever for the company's success.

  • A structured, self-organised way of working. You keep your pipeline in the CRM current on your own, without anyone looking over your shoulder.

  • A proactive approach to new customers and real staying power. You go out to property managers actively rather than only working through inbound leads, and a "no" doesn't throw you off.

Your team

You'll join a lean team of 12, with short paths and direct communication. In sales, you'll work closely with Lennart, our co-founder and managing director, who has run the area himself so far and will onboard you personally.

You'll also be in direct contact with the rest of the founding team and with Operations and Communications, who pitch in across functions. Feedback from your customer conversations goes straight into product and development, with no detours through multiple layers. And as soon as we hire more sales colleagues after you, you'll play a defining role in building out the team.

The hiring process

The process runs in three steps:

First introduction. In an informal conversation, we get to know each other. You'll learn more about Conlivo, our product and the role; we'll learn more about your background and your sales experience. By the end of this step, both sides know whether there's a basic fit and whether a next step makes sense.

Case study: your pitch. Beforehand, you'll get our company presentation and pitch it back to us — the way you'd later pitch to a property management company. This isn't about whether you handle every objection perfectly or already know the product inside out. We want to see how you do in a real conversation: how confident and convincing you come across, how you structure a presentation, what strategy you use to win your counterpart over, and how you handle follow-up and critical questions. This gives us a far more realistic picture than a standard interview, because it mirrors exactly the situation you'll be in every day.

Final conversation & terms. In the last step, we work through any open questions on both sides and discuss the specifics: salary, variable compensation, start date and anything else relevant to your decision. The goal is for you to decide with the full picture, and for us to agree on a good start together.

About Conlivo

We're at the start of a real market shift. New interoperability requirements are forcing metering providers to open up their data, and property managers increasingly want to take control themselves rather than rely on a third party. Whoever shapes this shift now will define what the market looks like for years to come.

Over the past year, we brought the first 100 property management companies onto the platform and now manage more than 100,000 units. Having closed our second funding round, we're entering the next growth phase and expanding our 12-person team in a focused way. If you want to rethink an entire market from the ground up rather than administer within a finished structure, you're in the right place.

What we offer

  • Flexible hours: fit your schedule around your life — a longer lie-in on Mondays, an easy afternoon workout on Tuesdays, or Friday time with family.

  • Your choice of equipment: you decide what you work on.

  • Workation: combine work and travel, and work from elsewhere now and then.

  • 30+ days of holiday: enough room to fit your wanderlust around your job.

  • Permanent contract after the probation period, because we want to grow with you and have you actively shape where the company goes.

  • Learning & development: want to grow in a particular area and bring that expertise into the company? Gladly — we'll find a way together.

  • Mobility: Work Bike, Urban Sports Club, BahnCard, or all of them at once. Your call.

  • Team events: Christmas market, pizza days, watching football together, various outings — that's part of the deal here.

  • A share in our success: as a startup on a growth path you help drive, our economic success is reflected in your pay.

  • Great transport links: our modern office sits right in central Hamburg, on Jungfernstieg.
