Management Position Startup Services (m/f/d)

Your tasks – varied and responsible

  • Management of Startup Services and leadership of the associated employees

  • Continuous and independent strategic development and implementation of Startup Services, which consist of the ‘Startup City Hamburg’ platform and the associated consulting and networking activities, as well as the marketing of the startup location (formerly ‘Startup Unit’)

  • Cooperating with the key players in the start-up ecosystem in Hamburg, primarily to ensure the acceptance of ‘Startup City Hamburg’ as the central platform for marketing Hamburg as a startup location

  • Establishing and maintaining a strong network, including organising and implementing networking activities in Hamburg's start-up ecosystem (e.g. Startup AG and Startup Round Table)

  • Acting as a contact person for public clients

  • Providing committed and visionary leadership, as well as motivating and developing an existing team

  • Managing and working on projects

Your profile – qualified and enriching

  • You have successfully completed a degree in economics, communication or media studies or related subjects.

  • You have very good knowledge of the Hamburg startup ecosystem and are networked with key players.

  • You have experience in the areas of startups, marketing, PR, social media, branding, event management and location marketing.

  • You have several years of management experience and strong communication skills to inspire and motivate people.

  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.

  • Entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, flexibility and a goal-oriented, proactive approach to work round off your profile.
